Advocate Prakhar Gupta is a practicing lawyer in Jaipur Rajasthan. He is enrolled with the Bar Council of Rajasthan since 2020. He takes up Constitutional, Arbitration, and Civil matters. He is practicing at District Court, Rajasthan High Court, and Supreme Court. He had an opportunity to appear before Hon’ble High Court of Rajasthan at Jaipur Bench for a case wherein a lady had cleared written examination for Constable recruitment in Rajasthan, and was asked to appear for Physical Examination requiring her to run a distance of 5 Kms. She was 6 months pregnant on the date of Physical examination, she had earlier made representations before appropriate authorities for postponing her exam once she had delivered, and was certified fit by appropriate doctors, as the examination was being constantly being postponed because of Covid 19, and there was no way for her to know when the examination would be held. But she couldn’t get any relief from the authorities. The matter was taken up before Hon’ble Justice Sanjeev Prakash Sharma, who not only took cognizance of the problem, and gave relief to the petitioner. But also directed the state to formulate appropriate general directions for the future, so that no lady has to approach the court for getting basic reliefs. The matter was clubbed with three other similar matters.
