Advocate Shamba Dutta started practicing Law before the Ld. District Courts/DRT/Tribunals/and the Hon’ble High Court at Calcutta, dealing with Criminal/Civil/& other matters as well as assigned to him from time to time by his senior during my initial years of his practicing career. Soon thereafter he had shifted to Delhi and started practicing law as Junior Advocate before the District Courts/ Various Tribunals/ DRT mostly at Delhi & when required at Calcutta. He focused his practice mainly before The Hon’ble Supreme Court of India High Court at Delhi, and at Calcutta High Court initially but now and for the past few years before other High Courts almost all over India as well when required Started appearing in almost all matters before the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India, dealing with Civil Writ, Transfer Petition), matters relating to Labour Laws Criminal, Laws, Constitutional matters with my seniors and independently as and when required. He has both the Experience & exposure in Drafting of various Commercial, Contracts for PSU’s Contract, dealt with Commercial Arbitration before Arbitral Tribunals. Registration of Flats, Land Society both at Delhi & Calcutta, Drafting of various types agreement relating to Real Estate. Dealt with various disputes in Pension before Principal Bench of CAT at Delhi an d Calcutta branch and for the past few years before other benches as well when required. Appeared in NGT matters both at Delhi and Calcutta and for the past few years before other benches as well when required. He had been a paneled Advocate with the BSNL ( Corporate Office New Delhi) Advocates Panel for the years (2008-2011. Closely worked with The Hon’ble Shree Justice Ramamoorthy, Former Judge High Court of Delhi at New Delhi & Sr Advocate Supreme Court of India and also worked with Hon’ble Shree Gaurab Banerjee, Additional Solicitor Gen Supreme Court of India New Delhi. He also served as Asst Manager ( Legal & Contract) for a (EPC & Trunkey based ) Eng. Company where he had mainly dealt with drafting of various contractual and commercial agreements, drafting of Bank Guarantee, Advance Bank guarantee. He also has very good experience exposers in Arbitration; more particularly with Arbitral proceedings, drafting of Claims/Counter Claims/Rejoinder/framing of issues replies etc. depending on case to case basis. He is very good at Negotiation in between parties before moving to Court when deemed necessary Have thus acquired wide and varied experience in different fields of law since enrolled as an Advocate. Advocate Shamba is enrolled with the Bar Council of West Bengal . He is a member of Supreme Court Bar Association for almost 16 yrs. Currently he concentrates more on NRI clients for family, land matters, will , various agreements etc.
