Adv. Aditya Kaushik obtained the L.L.B. degree from Campus Law Centre, Faculty of Law, University of Delhi in 2014. He is enrolled with the Bar Council of Delhi since 2014, and currently practicing at Delhi High Court & Delhi District Courts. He has been representing clients in civil, commercial, intellectual property and employment matters before the Delhi High Court, Delhi District Courts, Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT) and other judicial or non-judicial Authorities. He is also handling pro bono litigations before the Delhi Courts in relation to public health and general administration. He is regularly engaged by clients for drafting and reviewing Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) licensing & assignment agreements, data privacy and data protection related policies as well as for IPR enforcement related advisory. Earlier he has also worked with Lakshmikumaran & Sridharan Attorneys (L&S), a tier 1 law firm in Delhi, India, as Senior Associate, Technology Law Team. While working with L&S, he represented clients in IPR infringement matters before the Delhi High Court; Intellectual Property Appellate Board (IPAB); and Delhi District Courts. He also represented clients in Writ Petitions related to IPRs, Biological Diversity Act, 2002 and Protection of Plant Varieties and Farmers’ Rights Act 2001, before the Delhi High Court. He also handled patent prosecution before the Indian Patent Office (IPO) and plant variety registration before the concerned Authority. Aditya was also involved in advising clients on compliance with various provisions under the Seeds Act, 1966, Legal Metrology (Packaged commodities) Rules, 2011 and Insecticides Act, 1968. While working at L&S, Aditya was also awarded the ‘L&S Star of the Quarter Award for January-March 2018.
