Question
Myself working in Government sector. . I wish to start a one person company and sell specific products on my brand name. Suggest me how to get it done. 1. Am I eligible to register it as Director, continuing my job? 2. If I start in someone else name, how can i retain its ownership, continuing my job

You can book a consultation with me for further detailed discussions.

Your eligibility, to register the company as a director and to retain its ownership while continuing your job, depends on the terms & conditions of the employment agreement that you have signed with the government. For more details, you may reach out. Thanks!

YOU ARE WORKING IN GOVERMENT SECTOR. SO THAT YOU ARE NOT ELIGIBLE TO START ANY BUSSINESS. UNLESS YOU ARE WORKING AS A GOVERMENT EMPLOYEE

You cannot be a director with retaining the job

Legally, a government employee is not allowed to own a business in India as per All India Service Conduct rules 1968. Luckily that does not stop them from doing one. They can start a business on their spouse's name, or children's name and supervise the business. What can be done is, 1. Register a sole prop company in your spouse/ child/parents name and do the Trademerk registration on your name. This will allow you to have complete leverage on the product/ brand name. 2. or register a pvt ltd compnay, you be the silent director with no monetary benefits- you can manage and handle the business . When you retire from your service, be appointed as the MD. in this case also, take TM registration in your name and give consent to the compnay so formed to use your TM/ brand for their products.

Sir, you can register one person company in the name of your wife or your legal heirs i.e. your son or daughter (both may be adult not be a minor) and start business, because of as per the companies act, 2013 government employee government employee is not allowed to run a private business.

Sir, The Companies Act, 2013 is silent in this matter. it is not mentioned anywhere if the government employee can become a director in a private company or not. For Further Information, you can contact on 98765-64774.

No, A government employee is not allowed to run a private business, neither is he allowed to work anywhere else as a part-time or full-time employee. But if you want to run a business, for extra income, you can start the same by the name of any member of your family i.e. wife, son, daughter, mother, father, or brother. Also, if you start a company in someone else name you have to get a company registered under the companies act, and then you can only it will be a legit company.

U can start in name of your family members, wife, son, daughter and any other also.
